The best got even better! You asked, so here it is, the improved Super Bench PRO Version 2 with customer-driven updates: Loaded with new upgrades while retaining all the great features of the Super Bench PRO and the original Super Bench. The Super Bench PRO bench has been discontinued and replaced by the V2.
Summary of Main Improvements
Below are the key modifications we made on the Super Bench PRO (SB PRO #1002) to transform it into Version 2:
- Integrated bench handle makes it easier to tilt and roll.
- Laser etched numbers on the locking ring so you will always be sure of the exact pressing angle. (Numbers on one side as shown)
- Hybrid dual width bench grip pad. Uses our new, heavy-duty grip vinyl and gives you two width zones.
- Additional higher incline seat tube insertion point for better overhead pressing position.
Fully adjustable and functional
Perform different kinds of exercises with the Super Bench PRO V2. Its 11 lock-out angles give you incline, decline, flat and upright positions for a wide range of movements.
- This bench can be angled at 0, 5, 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80 and 85 degrees.
- Note: we recommend using the Crunch Situp attachment with the bench for decline angles to help hold your legs. Minimal angles are possible without the attachment.
- The included incline seat has 3 positions. The seat height in the 85 degree position can be set to either 12.5", 14.5" or 23.5" from the floor, while the top of main pad is 24.5" above the seat in the highest position. Top of main pad is 35.5" in the lowest incline seat position. 33.5" in the center position.
- Stands up vertically to save space.
- Base dimensions: narrow foot is 12.5" wide and longer foot is 21" wide. Bench length is 47" overall.
Compatible with the Ironmaster Super Bench System of Attachments
The Super Bench PRO V2 can be outfitted with most Super Bench attachments. All accessories with names that have /PRO in the are completely compatible with it. If you're unsure of the compatibility or need an adapter for some of your equipment, feel free to get in touch with us.
- Use with Ironmaster attachments like the Crunch Sit-up, Dip Bar Handles, Chin Up Bar, and Preacher Curl.
- The Leg Attachment PRO designed for leg extensions and leg curls is designed to fit this new bench specifically.
- Use with the Cable Tower, Hypercore and more. Note: We have developed a new universal bench adapter, which is included in current stocks of the Cable Tower. This can be purchased separately if you have and older standard Cable Tower pieces that were only made to fit the original Super Bench.
Comfortable workouts
From its lower height to the solid feel of its commercial quality pad, the Super Bench PRO is designed with your comfort in mind.
- Its high-density commercial grade pad is 44" x (10.25"/12.25") x 2.5" thick and makes use of durably stitched vinyl upholstery making it firm and comfortable.
- The included incline seat pad is tapered towards the front to give your legs more room to move and can be adjusted up or down for optimum comfort.
- The incline seat moves with the backrest pad at any angle so they will always be perpendicular to each other, unlike other benches where the seat can have a shallow angle causing the user to slide off. This seat can be removed, leaving a large gapless pad.
- Incline seat can be connected in seconds and doesn't require any pins or knobs to attach.
Easy to assemble
Apart from the feet, the Super Bench PRO is pre-assembled upon shipping. It only requires simple tools to set up so you can practically start working out a few minutes after taking it out of the box!
- Pre-assembled parts will save you time and effort in setting it up.
- The dual-position incline seat easily plugs in from the side without any pins.
- Its unique machine-cut ring with foot lever adjustment can be operated from both sides of the bench and clicks into place instantly for secure positioning (patented design US 6,994,661).
Compact, lightweight and movable
The Super Bench PRO V2 is the ultimate space saver in your gym. Compact and lightweight but still ultra strong. Wheels and a convenient handle have also been included as a standard accessory for the equipment instead of an optional add-on so you can move the bench around your gym or roll it out of the way after use with ease.
- Everything stays intact even when you lift or move the bench. Nothing unfolds or needs to be dismantled prior to moving it around.
- The bench alone weighs 65lbs without the incline seat and 69 with it. (Shipping weight 79lbs at 50" x 13" x 19".)
- Its ultra-strong platform is still light enough to lift and move even without using the wheels.
- Complete with transport wheels on the longer foot tube. (You can install the wheels on either end of the bench as desired; plus, kits for both an additional wheel kit and bench handle are available if you want to have wheels and handles on both ends!)
Superior construction
Like its predecessors, the Super Bench PRO V2 is manufactured from top-rated materials for superior build quality.
- Constructed from 11 & 12 gauge super strong steel frame, this bench has a 1000-lb weight load capacity in the flat position.
- It has a 600-lb weight load capacity in incline and upright positions.
- It includes a unique laser-cut ring with foot lever adjustment that can be operated from both sides of the bench (patented design US 6,994,661).
- Its high-density and thick commercial grade pad is furnished with durable vinyl upholstery.
- For extra protection against rust and wear and tear, the Super Bench PRO V2 is equipped with a textured, black powder-coated frame with chrome components.
Here is what makes this model different than the original Super Bench:
- The SB PRO V2 has a lower height of 17.2" in the flat position for increased stability and suitability for more users. This lowered height falls within the standards for competitive powerlifting.
- Wheels are included standard on one foot and a handle on the other foot. (The feet can be assembled to put the wheels on either end of the bench.)
- A wider base and larger foot tubes contribute to its improved stability.
- A separate pull pin and corner tightening knob connect bench attachments faster and more securely. This improved locking system also is simply easier to use.
- Its high-density dual width commercial pad offers a grippier vinyl pattern and contributes to the lower flat bench design.
Although the Super Bench PRO Version 2 (V2) is designed for home use, many personal trainers and light commercial gym owners prefer this equipment for its versatility and functionality. Our benches are used in many gyms, schools, military bases and professional training studios.

This bench is fuckin phenomenal. You hear me? Fuckin P H E N O M E N A L! Yea, its pricey, but its the buy once, cry once dilemma, yennoe? I was like you once, cheaped out with a lil shitty Adidas bench with the kick stand and notches to change inclines with like a whopping 3 positions. Feeling all shaky when my fat ass laid on it with 225 on my bench. Not with this bench. I loaded 225 and the damn thing didn't budge! A variety of angles, decline, has that lil narrow end so you can get additional ROM with bench. Again, its pricey for a bench, but it legit shits on all the others, has a small foot print and will probably be the last bench I buy.
And the attachments! I got the sit up rig thing and the leg curls/extension. They're awesome. The sit up thing works too damn good! I put max decline so I could stretch my vertebraes. My fat ass got stuck upside down! I was relaxing in the stretch, got too relaxed and remembered my core is softer than baby shit and I couldn't sit back up to get myself off, blood rushed to my head and I passed out! My wife found me and needed to get the neighbor to help get my big ass off of there. But you know what, it held me the WHOLE time.
Ironmasters is quality. Take 500 out of your kids college find, equity out of your house, whatever you need to do, and just get the bench.

This bench is substantial. It feels solid, durable and ready to support some weight. I've been very impressed with the design and function. It is easy to adjust and works great with the dip and situp attachments.

Admittedly I had a cheap bench off of amazon before but the difference in stability and overall feel is immediate. I’ve spent a lot of time in commercial gyms and this bench is even more stable, better feel while being lighter and easy to move. Adjustability is intuitive, quick and easy. I could see some accessories in my future.

I'm glad I chose this bench. It's not too heavy, but feels completely solid. The pad is comfortable but firm and supportive, and I love the hybrid width. Whatever incline I adjust to feels sturdy with no wobble or give. The only slight negative would be that when installed, the seat just doesn't feel quite as solid as everything else, there's just a little bit of give. But it performs great and I'm very happy with my purchase. Five stars!

I spent over a year doing research before I pulled the trigger in buying my first premium quality bench. I do Spartan runs and train exclusively at hime using adjustable dumbbells. I compared this bench to other benches from other big name brands and decided on the Pro V2 due to the outstanding reviews and access to the attachments that I was looking for. The bench itself came mostly pre assembled with the rest easily assembled. I was very impressed with the packaging. Before I even used the bench I was blown away with how thoughtful and careful they were packaged it, ensuring I would get it without a scratch. I've only begun to use it with the attachments I bought, but so far it feels insanely sturdy, comfortable and makes me excited for the next workout. The pad quality is exceptional. There is no sliding around, it's easy to clean (I have two small children) and the foot pedal mechanism used to adjust the bench is phenomenal and fun to use. I absolutely love this bench and I don't think I'll ever look elsewhere when purchasing any home gym equipment. Iron Master has earned my trust and I'm excited to be a new loyal customer. I can't wait for the Valhalla!

Not sure if I will like the bench or not. Ordered it over 2 weeks ago. Still hasn’t shipped. Emailed Iron Master to inquire as to status a few days ago ago…no response. 2+ weeks ship time seems more like an interest free loan than a purchase…. Hoping I get it before Christmas. But it’s not looking good. So far…not so good.

I love this bench. I am not a fitness guru, or bench connoisseur. But I can recognize when something is thought out and well made. The quality is great, well built, attachments (leg roller/ab thing & dip handles) I bought are sturdy, change out/lock in with easy, and it's a comfortable platform to build home routines off of. I am a bigger guy at 280, so I was concerned about the decline functions for abs, and weighted decline exercises, but I am thoroughly impressed how stable it is. The only gripe I have is with the dip attachment which is great, but would be greater if it was tapered slightly. Happy customer here.

I'm a 56 year old female, 5'5" 155#, about 3 years into regular powerlifting training. I train in my garage gym, and ordered this to replace a cheap, lightweight bench I got off Amazon. Huge upgrade, the bench feels rock solid yet is light enough for me move around easily. Incline mechanism works smoothly, and I just flip it around to use as a decline bench as well. I also love the ability to add attachments (I got the leg extension/curl and dip bar). Hopefully this will motivate me to do more bench sessions to get to my goal of benching my bodyweight :)

Absolutely the right decision. Was going back and forth on what to upgrade to from a basic flat bench. I'm glad I made the decision to upgrade. This bench is now the center of my "Micro Gym" ecosystem. Love the weight, flexibility and durability. Garage Gym Reviews did a great piece on it and i'm glad I made the decision to buy it. I'm 70 and really enjoying getting back to a vigorous life in the last several years after too many years of sitting around. Feels great. I don't have a home gym with a lot of equipment, but I'm glad I got a bench and this one seems to fit my needs for exercises and PT exercises that supplement the work I do with my trainer. It is easy to move around in the room and store up against the wall. It feels really solid and safe. I got it because it could decline and has the situp attachment that is about as convenient as my trainer's decline bench.

As someone looking to build a home gym over the next couple years, the Ironmaster Super Bench PRO V2 is the perfect foundation. It not only offers various ranged with a removable seat, but it also is compatible with a variety of attachments that take an ordinary workout bench to a fully fledged home gym center piece. Having Ironmaster equipment genuinely feels like a cheat code to working out, I am able to have all the equipment I need for any workout I want all in the comfort of my own home and it takes up very minimal space. I was able to mount most if not all of the attachments to my wall to make sure I have floor space, with the only items taking up floor space being the bench, cable tower, and dumbbells. Overall, I would highly recommend all Ironmaster equipment, especially the Super Bench PRO V2!

I've had this bench for a couple of years now and use it five times a week for wide variety of sets from chest presses to tricep dips using the handle attachment. This thing is amazing. Incredibly versatile, but also very well built. It's perfect for the small space I'm working with given it's useful attachments and compatibility with Ironmaster's cable machine. I'm picky when it comes to gym equipment and I highly recommend this bench.

I replaced an adjustable bench I purchased a few years ago from one of the major brands. It was a nice bench. Big, heavy duty, etc etc. The problem was - I rarely used it. It was pretty heavy to wheel around, and it was for me, at 6’0”, overly large and cumbersome. The super bench is much easier to move (super easy), laterally stiffer, smoother operation, more comfortable, and much better for doing things like rows where you are prone (face down). I have not added attachments yet but even as it is, I am very happy with it and have already used it more than the last bench.

Purchased the bench and several attachments for my student athlete son and I. The discounts offered for each attachment added to the order made it a no brainer to order all the attachments my son and I would use. Shipping was quick and everything arrived undamaged. Assembly was pretty easy for my son and I. After a month of use, we are extremely pleased with quality of the bench and the attachments. My only complaint or improvement request would be to put larger wheels on the bench for easier movement on rubber mats. Next up will be replacing an aging functional trainer with a dual cable Smith Machine functional trainer, any chance Ironmaster will be offering up something like this in the future.

Perfect Bench. 6'2" 220# and works great for back down or chest down. Quality is great, I have read negative comments on the padding material, I think it is fine. Wife is 5'6" and top seat position puts her head above the top of the bench so no more nose in the vinyl during bench dumbbell rows. That alone was worth adding it to the gym. I have 3 other really expensive Rxxxx benches, and this is now my go to bench for everything. 3 expensive benches going on FB market place and I will buy another IronMaster Pro V2 when they are gone. Thanks for a great product that makes my gym home gym better. It is nice to get more than you expected occasionally.

The hype on this thing is real. Lightweight and easy to move around the gym but still feels amazingly sturdy. I don't have standard 1" monster racks to plug extra attachments into so this bench has been a godsend for working around that limitation. I got the preacher pad and dip bar attachments with it and couldn't be happier with how seamlessly they integrate into the bench.

By far the best bench I’ve owned. More than sturdy, it’s robust without being too heavy or bulky. I do a lot of incline work and so far it’s handled everything I’ve done. Everything moves smoothly and locks in. I was impressed with the metal work and the finish as I couldn’t find a flaw anywhere. The bench is very firm but gives just enough so you know you aren’t on something hard. No indentations from sitting a weight on it like when doing pullovers. Would recommend IRONMASTER to anyone looking for equipment!

I bought the V2 bench as I needed a bench that I could move around our garage gym but also so could my wife. This bench is near perfect. Reasonable weight, grippy vinyl and just like the reviews said it is super stable and firm to work on. I really like it and how it feels which was my biggest concern. Thanks for a great product!

While I was building my basement gym, I needed a bench that could go incline, flat and decline. Space was tight & I didn't want to buy multiple benches. FID bench are either heavy & very expensive or cheap garbage. I did a bunch of research & the Sper Bench Pro V2 covered every base. At a reasonable price. I ordered it, used it repeatedly & I couldn't be happier. Extremely well-built, stable, thoughtful design & light enough that my wife and kids can move it around easily. I bought the leg attachment for decline (I've also used it for Nordic ham curls) & I'm probably going to buy more attachments. Great job IronMaster

This bench does it all and is very stable, weighs only half of what other benches do, making it easy to move around. Top quality materials and construction. My only regret is not buying it sooner.

My biggest regret when I first built my home gym was getting the Rep Blackwing over the Super Bench Pro. I have since sold my blackwing and have gotten the newest super bench pro. I’m not sure how the old pad was but the new pad is incredible, the attachments are good and the bench is light and adjustments are a breeze.

Newbie here. I'm old (56) but still new to this kinda lifestyle. Beside dumbbells this is my first workout equipment Ive ever bought. I researched online for workout equipment. I found many positive reviews about this bench. After looking at other workout equipment (online) I found that many of the trainers were using the IM bench to train with. And now so am I. I purchased a Leverage Gym to pair up with my bench. That's what I love about the IM bench it's so versatile. I also like the size and how easy it is to just roll away. My next IM purchase will be the leg attachment - can't wait.
