Ironmaster Reviews & Testimonials

Ironmaster IM3000 Valhalla — first week review
I’ve had the Valhalla for almost a week. Assembly took about six hours.
I made one mistake early: I mixed up the left and right lower legs. I caught it before I got too far, backed up, and started that section over. The redo went pretty quickly because I already knew the process. After that it was straightforward.
I built the whole thing myself except for two parts that really need a second person: getting the Smith / self-spotting bar up and routing the cables. If you’re doing this solo, plan on help for those steps. Ironmaster’s video is worth following.
After a week of use the machine has quieted down. The first sessions had a little more mechanical noise; now it feels smoother and more settled. Workouts on it feel like a commercial gym — Smith work, functional trainer, lat pulldown, and low row all in one footprint.
If you’re already in the Ironmaster world or you want a serious all-in-one that you can train on without a spotter, this is delivering so far.

I have been looking and comparing from a different name brands of gym equipment in the market for my home gym and I came across with the Ironmaster equipments and decided to give them a try base on their reviews for quality, design, and durability. I purchase the super bench adjustable utility bench that exceeded my expectations now I’m getting some of the attachments to see how they performs on my daily exercise routines, my pro: on this equipment is that fits well on small spaces and the advantage of multiple attachments compared with bulky gym equipment. The delivery was fast and well packed no issues at all, best competitive prices compared with some low quality and high price name brands in the market today.

The adjustable dumbbells are awesome. They definitely feel solid and the premium quality is noticeable. Got the heavy handle and pro cart. Both are great additions.

These dumbells are solid and built to last a lifetime maybe even generations. Ive dropped, abused them and they're still going strong. If you bought your ironmaster dumbells around that time, be aware that the modern ironmaster plates of today are a bit larger in so it makes loading new plates with the old plates a bit difficult but doable.

My first review of iron master deals with ordering and customer support. Iron Master is amazing, everyone that I corresponded with was knowledgeable, friendly and professional. I corresponded with Scott in sales and it was a pleasure. After making my order I recieved a phone call asking if I ment to order 2 dip bars. I made the mistake but they found an error and saved me $98 and the frustration of sending the product back. So far Iron Master has impressed me with their customer service. I can't wait to review Iron Masters equipment when it arrives. I highly recommend Iron Master, I will purchase from them in the future.

I couldn't be happier with my Ironmaster purchase. I bought the adjustable dumbbells, the adjustable kettlebell, and the stand, and every one of them exceeded my expectations.

The quality is even better in person than it appears on the website. Everything feels incredibly solid, well-engineered, and built to last a lifetime. The stand is sturdy and keeps everything organized, and the dumbbells and kettlebell have a premium feel that makes working out a pleasure.

What really impressed me, though, was Ironmaster's customer service. There was a small issue with my order, and they took care of it immediately. They shipped the replacement right away and made the entire process effortless. It's refreshing to deal with a company that truly stands behind its products and takes care of its customers.

Between the outstanding build quality and the exceptional customer service, I can honestly say these are some of the best fitness purchases I've ever made. If you're on the fence about Ironmaster, don't hesitate—you won't be disappointed.

I've had the Quick-Lock Dumbbells for a few years with both the heavy handle kit and the 120lb add-on weights. I love them for their utilitarian style and dependability. They're not the fanciest or flashiest, they don't have clever mechanisms for super quick adjustments, but they just work. Every time.

They do require a little maintenance from time to time, however, as I just learned. I allowed too much dust/detritis to build inside one of my handles recently and the screw got stuck as a result. I couldn't get it out however hard I tried, and even tore up my hands on the knurling (no blame there, I love the knurl).

Frustrated with myself for letting this happen, I submitted a support request to the Ironmaster website, with little expectation that I'd get a helpful response. I expected, at best, to receive a generic email response without very helpful tips a few days later.

Instead, to my surprise, I received a direct phone call within only a few hours from a customer service rep named Scott, who walked me through some very basic steps to get the lock unstuck. Within 5 minutes, the screw was out and I had received a number of very helpful maintenance and troubleshooting tips in case it happens again (I won't let it). Scott was super helpful and friendly. So much so that this was one of the best customer service experiences I have ever had and I've felt compelled to leave this review, which is not something I typically do.

I could not recommend this company and their products highly enough.

You cannot go wrong purchasing these adjustable dumbbells. I bought my set back in December 2009. Besides some paint falling off from years of use, they are still like new. The knurling on the bars has stood the test of time; I couldn't be happier.

Bought a screw to dedicated for my IM kettlebell, threads don’t line up properly in KB however working fine DB handles.

A must have if you’re looking to save space.fit perfectly on my super pro v2, make sure not to forget to order it with your benche.

I've purchased many pieces of Ironmaster weightlifting equipment, accessories, and apparel over the course of many years. Not only do I find my purchases to be top-notch, their Customer Service department is incredible. Scott, in particular, has been very responsive and quick in following up on my inquiries.

While quality it one thing, customer service is very important too for customer retention. Ironmaster excels in both. Ironmaster is an awesome company and I highly recommend them!

It is pricey, but I like this more then the rep blackwing I got. I love the grip of the vinyl, I feel locked in when pressing. The preacher curl is the reason I bought this bench. But I use this every time over the blackwing. Happy to have pulled the trigger.

This my 2nd review. I have been living with 3872asome of their home equipment for long enough to know. Their dumbbell kits are outstanding. I am adding more handles for better workout options. I have read many many poor reviews and other negatives but for the life of me I can't seem to get where they are coming from. Quality is outstanding. Heavy handle option works a treat. The small weight plates work a treat for getting just the right weight and balance. Put the plug in right and tight ,weights won't come apart . Great product don't be afraid to buy, you will not be sorry.

Following months of research, I decided to purchase the adjustable dumbbells, add-on kit, heavy-handle kit, super bench pro V2, and a handful of attachments (pull up & dip bar, preacher curl pad, and crunch sit-up). I was upgrading from a pair of Core Home Fitness adjustable dumbbells and a Fly Bird bench to add more weight and get more out of my workouts. I wasn't sure how I would feel about the quick lock vs twist adjustment, but decided to take a chance.

I couldn't be happier with my decision! The weights feel great in hand and adjusting them wasn't much of an adjustment at all from the twist lock dumbbells I had become accustomed too. As a matter of fact, I prefer them. There's an intentionality to it that fills the space during my rests. And after a few workouts, it's really almost as quick to adjust. The super bench pro also didn't disappoint. It's solid, comfortable, versatile, and easy to use. The attachments have allowed me to expand my home gym and improve my workouts. I especially love the grip pad, pull up bar and sit-up crunch attachment.

On top of all this, one box of the weight plates was lost during shipping. I submitted a claim to the carrier and they dismissed it. I then reached out to IronMaster, and they sent me the plates, no questions asked. All-in-all, an excellent product and a great company! I couldn't recommend them more!!

Right out of the box, I can tell it’s a very well built product and all the YouTube reviews I’ve watched did not steer me wrong. However, one of the reasons I chose the Super Bench Pro V2 was the positive reviews of the vinyl that felt and looked like leather. At the time of purchase, I could see no good images of the texture of this new “heavy duty grip vinyl”. Turns out, it is a pretty rough and rubbery texture. I can see myself getting strawberries on my knees and elbows. I would much rather have a heavy duty vinyl that was smooth like leather.

These things are amazing I'm very pleased with my purchase, I was hesitant at first because they are expensive for me but they're worth every penny. After doing lots of research and checking reviews all over the place I was sold and purchased a set of the 45.lb dumbbells since then I have added an additional 25.lb to ea DB.

They don't jingle or make any noise when you work out with them, they are comfortable to rest on your thighs when you're using a bench, very sturdy and solid you can drop them if you have to and they're not going to fall apart like most other DB's on the market.
Also I have average size hands my hands aren't big but I did not have any issues with the wide handles which I read in some reviews people had issues with. I actually like the extra room because if my hand or wrist pivots I won't ding the side of my wrist with the weight plate if I have to drop them in a hurry. I feel like this extra room is a good thing. But if that's not for you they have a kit to narrow the handle which is a nice option if you need it.

I highly recommend these dumbbells for somebody that wants a durable well-designed lifetime set of dumbbells. Another big plus was customer service I called somebody answered the phone right away answered all my questions they even shipped the DB set on time and early on the additional plates.

Get your Money!

In 2022 after spending considerable time researching different adjustable dumbbells I finally settled on the Ironmasters as they seemed the most sturdy and space effective. The shape makes them great for lifts like pullovers and overhead triceps extensions. The trade off is that they are a little bit slower to change the weights compared to some. So if you really like drop sets, these might not be ideal. I initially purchased the 75lb dumbbells and the EZ-curl bar and only upgrade when I truly needed more than 75lb dumbbells. FWIW the ez-curl bar uses spin lock collars so they can be a bit tedious for changing the weight.

It took until 2025 before I truly needed to upgrade. And while the Heavy Handle kit is never in stock or I would have bought that too! I did purchase the 120lb kit. The extra long locks with the kit each weigh an additional ~1lb. So in reality the 120lb dumbbell is ~122lbs. The four 22.5lb solid weights are great for if you need 55lb+ dumbbells or 60lb+ ez-bar!

My only regret with these dumbbells is not buying the 75lb + 120lb + Heavy Handles right from the start!

Great products. I've been using their products for 10 years now and they don't show wear yet, very tuff. The bench is sturdy but space saving.

I put a lot of research into adjustable dumbbells and finally decided to buy the 75lb set back in February 2025. Was slightly apprehensive about buying without being able to try them first. When I called Ironmaster to ask about the return policy, they told me there is "no cost, but you won't want to return them". They were soooo right! These are solid! Finely machined plates and nothing shakes or moves. Quality stuff!

This led me to get the bench and attachments. One item was very slightly damaged (foam grip) and had a defect (chrome chipped off). I reached out and Jacob was super helpful with the exchange.

Incredible, tough, quality products...and if anything is not perfect, they will make it right.

Fine, sturdy gym equipment and excellent customer service.

I highly recommend Ironmaster!

I bought the quick-set dumbbells, but some of the weight had been misplaced in transit. After a week of no updates, UPS finally said that they could not find it. I sent an inquiry to Ironmaster about my missing weight and Scott got back to me within an hour and understood my issue. He sent me an invoice for the missing weight free of charge! Then the following day, package is processed and getting ready for shipment.

It’s was so nice to see the Ironmaster team help me out when it was the carrier that messed up. Good/ fast customer service feels rare and it’s great to see Ironmaster care about their consumer!

As the title suggested, it's more of a suggestion then a review because we all know how high quality Ironmaster products are. With the trend in rucking recently, Ironmaster should come out with a backpack to use with the iron plates for rucking.

After lots of research and review reading I took the plunge and bought the Ironmaster 2000 and Superbench Pro. I'd first heard of this brand whilst reading one of Arnold's (yes that one) daily emails on staying healthy, and he had recommended the bench.

After 1 week of use and having also ordered the leg attachment I can say that the build quality is top notch. During each build/assembly and then real use, I am super impressed by the quality.
I'm 58 and have been doing weights on and off since I was 16, but now I need something serious and solid to keep me going into retirement (soonish). I reckon this equipment should last many years.
It fits easily into my downstairs room (cave) and I ordered the Rogue bumper plate set (100kg) that makes the machine look the biz.
Really highly recommend this machine if you are thinking about an investment into your older years (or younger!)
Happy lifting!!

As a home gym user, I was in search of a high-quality flat workout bench—one without splits—that was stable, versatile, space-saving, and capable of handling heavy lifting. The Ironmaster Super Bench Pro has impressed me with its well-thought-out design and solid build quality.
I love the fact that it’s a true flat bench, which was one of the main reasons I chose it. So many workout benches have a split design that causes discomfort in my back—especially at the gap—when bench pressing heavy weight. The Ironmaster Super Bench Pro eliminates that issue by offering a completely flat surface.
In addition, this bench is thoughtfully designed, from the built-in transport wheels and solid construction to the adjustable incline/decline settings. It’s also compatible with multiple attachments that can be purchased separately. I bought several of these add-ons and highly recommend doing so for added versatility. I’m a happy user of 5 years strong.

Wife and I very happy with these dumbells . Easy to change ,durable and grips are just right for my larger hands and her smaller hands.
Very happy with purchase. Would definitely buy again. Also bought the smaller plates for micro adjustments. Will by the expansion plate set next.
Thank you for a great and durable product.

These things are amazing. I ordered the 75lb. Set with both adding and the heavy plate handles. The dumbbells are quick to change weight, they are plenty heavy and the build on these are incredible. These are hands down the best dumbbells I’ve ever had!!!

Good service, comfort ,stable ,well madefunctional & practical.

Great customer service. Had a small issue with my order, I wrote them. Got a phonecall within 30 minimum saying they are gonna make it right. And they did. Truly hard to find people like this these days. I very much appreciate it. People like this is People I want to buy from. Thank you guys!

A rock-solid adjustable dumbbell. No movement ever, when it's locked in IT"S LOCKED IN! I've used Power Block before, there is too much plastic, and there was always a little slack/play when lifting the weight. I was always worried about it coming loose, that's a good way to get hurt. These are 2nd to none in the adjustable dumbbell market!

I’ve owned home gym equipment for quite a while, but now that I have this iron master multi bench I’m blown away by the quality and the versatility of this unit. I got the leg attachment and the dip attachment and I can do pretty much everything with this bench, and also the curl attachment. It is so solid and so strong and so steady I don’t know why I haven’t on this piece of equipment all my life.

My first purchase was the Super Bench Pro v2. I had another brand bench and quality was terrible. I was really impressed with the quality and went ahead and ordered a lot more attachments.I called and talked with Scott. He provided exceptional customer service and product knowledge.Like a previous review said "Exceptional people and quality products!
