You asked, so here it is, the improved Super Bench PRO Version 2 with customer-driven updates: Loaded with new upgrades while retaining all the great features of the Super Bench PRO and the original Super Bench. The Super Bench PRO bench has been discontinued and replaced by the V2.
Summary of Main Improvements
Below are the key modifications we made on the Super Bench PRO (SB PRO #1002) to transform it into Version 2:
- Integrated bench handle makes it easier to tilt and roll.
- Laser etched numbers on the locking ring so you will always be sure of the exact pressing angle. (Numbers on one side as shown)
- Hybrid dual width bench grip pad. Uses our new, heavy-duty grip vinyl and gives you two width zones.
- Additional higher incline seat tube insertion point for better overhead pressing position.
Fully adjustable and functional
Perform different kinds of exercises with the Super Bench PRO V2. Its 11 lock-out angles give you incline, decline, flat and upright positions for a wide range of movements.
- This bench can be angled at 0, 5, 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80 and 85 degrees.
- Note: we recommend using the Crunch Situp attachment with the bench for decline angles to help hold your legs. Minimal angles are possible without the attachment.
- The included incline seat has 3 positions. The seat height in the 85 degree position can be set to either 12.5", 14.5" or 23.5" from the floor, while the top of main pad is 24.5" above the seat in the highest position. Top of main pad is 35.5" in the lowest incline seat position. 33.5" in the center position.
- Stands up vertically to save space.
- Base dimensions: narrow foot is 12.5" wide and longer foot is 21" wide. Bench length is 47" overall.
Compatible with the Ironmaster Super Bench System of Attachments
The Super Bench PRO V2 can be outfitted with most Super Bench attachments. All accessories with names that have /PRO in the are completely compatible with it. If you're unsure of the compatibility or need an adapter for some of your equipment, feel free to get in touch with us.

Comfortable workouts
From its lower height to the solid feel of its commercial quality pad, the Super Bench PRO is designed with your comfort in mind.
- Its high-density commercial grade pad is 44" x (10.25"/12.25") x 2.5" thick and makes use of durably stitched vinyl upholstery making it firm and comfortable.
- The seat measures in at 9.5" Long x 9.25" Wide at the back x 5.25" wide at the front.
- The included incline seat pad is tapered towards the front to give your legs more room to move and can be adjusted up or down for optimum comfort.
- The incline seat moves with the backrest pad at any angle so they will always be perpendicular to each other, unlike other benches where the seat can have a shallow angle causing the user to slide off. This seat can be removed, leaving a large gapless pad.
- Incline seat can be connected in seconds and doesn't require any pins or knobs to attach.
Easy to assemble
Apart from the feet, the Super Bench PRO is pre-assembled upon shipping. It only requires simple tools to set up so you can practically start working out a few minutes after taking it out of the box!

The Super Bench PRO V2 is the ultimate space saver in your gym. Compact and lightweight but still ultra strong. Wheels and a convenient handle have also been included as a standard accessory for the equipment instead of an optional add-on so you can move the bench around your gym or roll it out of the way after use with ease.

- Constructed from 11 & 12 gauge super strong steel frame, this bench has a 1000-lb weight load capacity in the flat position.
- It has a 600-lb weight load capacity in incline and upright positions.
- It includes a unique laser-cut ring with foot lever adjustment that can be operated from both sides of the bench (patented design US 6,994,661).

Here is what makes this model different than the original Super Bench:
- The SB PRO V2 has a lower height of 17.2" in the flat position for increased stability and suitability for more users. This lowered height falls within the standards for competitive powerlifting.
- Wheels are included standard on one foot and a handle on the other foot. (The feet can be assembled to put the wheels on either end of the bench.)
- A wider base and larger foot tubes contribute to its improved stability.
- A separate pull pin and corner tightening knob connect bench attachments faster and more securely. This improved locking system also is simply easier to use.
- Its high-density dual width commercial pad offers a grippier vinyl pattern and contributes to the lower flat bench design.

I had a 36 year career in welding and metal fabrication and this bench is nothing short of a work of art from that perspective. Welds are smooth, regular and spatter free. Every exposed edge has been properly burnished leaving no sharp edges. Each component mates together with close tolerance during assembly and the bolt holes align perfectly.
Workouts on the bench are great. The incline adjusts easily and locks solidly in place. The padding is in that perfect middle, not too firm, not too soft. There are some complaints about the incline scale not being marked on both sides of the bench, but after a few sessions you just get a feel for how much incline you want for a given exercise and I don't see this as a drawback.
Once you get the bench you are only going to have one question, "Why didn't I get this sooner?"

I watched a lot of reviews before buying the super bench pro v2 instead of other heavier options. I ultimately landing on this item due to how light it is to pick up and roll around in the hopes that my wife would be more inclined to use it. I am happy with the bench but would caution anyone much taller than 6'-3" that their head may not rest comfortably when in the incline position. I would buy the bench again and recommend it to others.

I gotta say i never thought a new bench would reignite my passion for lifting but here we are. This bench is just so well designed and versatile that I can't wait to knock out reps on it. changing out accessories on it during a workout is just quick and easy and doesn't feel like a big chore. Even just having a footlever when adjust angle has felt so much easier than having to reach under the bench for a handle or pin. I bought it with the dip bar, leg attachment, and crunch attachment. I honestly love this piece of equipment.

This is my very first weight bench. I've never belonged to a gym or considered myself athletic. I'm 5'5" and started my fitness journey at 151 lbs after spending most of my life working on computers and playing video games. Instead of joining a commercial gym, I built a small home gym in a spare room. I wanted equipment that was solid, versatile, and compact enough to fit in a limited space. The Super Bench PRO V2 exceeded my expectations.
Packaging & Delivery
The outer shipping box arrived slightly open and looked like it had gone through some rough handling during transit. Fortunately, the internal packaging was excellent. Every component was clean, well protected, and arrived without any damage, so the packaging did exactly what it was supposed to do.
My delivery was delayed two or three times. From what I could tell, FedEx appeared to consolidate my separate Ironmaster orders into one shipment even though they were originally scheduled to arrive on different days. There were also Canadian wildfire-related shipping disruptions in the Midwest around that time, which may have contributed to the delays. While the wait was longer than expected, everything eventually arrived in perfect condition.
Assembly
Assembly was straightforward, but I think the instructions could be improved. I'd describe them as slightly better than IKEA instructions, though I would have appreciated a step-by-step assembly video.
One thing that caught me by surprise was that assembly requires two wrenches. I didn't own any, so I had to wait another day for Amazon to deliver them before I could finish assembling the bench. I later learned this is mentioned on the product page, but I completely missed it. I think that requirement should be made more obvious, or even better, include a basic pair of wrenches in the package. Many people probably already have tools in their garage, but not everyone does. As someone whose background is computers and gaming rather than DIY projects, that small addition would have made the experience much smoother.
Storage
One of my favorite features is how well this bench stores. Even though it feels incredibly solid and stable, it stands upright securely and takes up very little floor space. Since my home gym is in a small room, this was a huge advantage. It gives me commercial-quality equipment without permanently taking over the room.
Performance
The first thing I noticed after using it was how incredibly solid and stable it feels. Even after weeks of training, it still feels exactly as sturdy as it did on day one. As my confidence and the weights I'm lifting have increased, my confidence in the bench has increased as well.

Suggestions for a Future Version
These are all "nice-to-have" improvements rather than complaints.

- Consider making the center column thicker (around 3.5 inches) so it can double as a built-in calf raise block.
- Add a few angle adjustments to the removable seat for even more versatility.

This bench is very sturdy and light weight. The Eco system that this bench supports is incredible. The price includes free shipping which makes this a great value. My only complaint is the fact that the seat has to be at 90 deg. and sometimes that is just not optimal.

After 20 years (bought two in 2006) I upgraded from the IronMaster Super Bench to the Super Bench Pro v2. Wow... what a marked difference overall. Lower to the ground with greatly improved stability/sturdiness. The numbered angles, dual width pad, and redesigned incline seat are improvements I wished were on the original bench. I also purchased the Crunch Situp, Leg attachment and Seated Press Pad. All top notch add-ons. I highly recommend this bench AND this IronMaster overall!

It's head and shoulders above the old bench that I got during COVID. So many more incline options and the endless attachment options are awesome. So glad I finally went for it.

I upgraded from an old lumpy Bowflex bench to the New V2 Pro and it is night an day better! It's near perfect in every way. It did have some scrapes on the fabric but NBD. My only wish is if there were a easy way to do 'Decline Presses'.

Love the versatility. Incline is so easy to use with the the foot pedal. Bench fabric is quality & comfortable. Cushioning is perfect firmness & give. Rolls easily around your gym and stores out of the way in a upright position.

I purchased this bench back in 2024 for my home gym. I have limited space so, when not in use, I need to hang the bench on the wall. This bench was light enough for this purpose to easily hang up and down. At the time of purchase there wasn't even another option on the market (maybe still none) which can easily be hung up AND is incredibly sturdy, can tolerate a lot of weight, and has all the angle adjustments I need. If you then add on top of this all the attachments (many of which I have purchased and hang on the wall as well), this is literally the perfect bench.
After years of use I can also report that this bench is performing and holding up as well as the day it arrived. I was just using it this morning and while I never really leave reviews I felt compelled to give this product and company some positive rep.
On a side note, I had some communications with the folks at Ironmaster regarding some of my purchases, and they have been absolutely excellent in terms of customer support.

I live in an apartment and needed a compact/lightweight bench that is compatible with a sit up extension (should it not come with one) and luckily I stumbled upon this as one of, if not, the highest rated option for what I was looking for.
The bench itself is easy to move and assemble and came packaged very well. No defects found after assembly and the quality is extremely high. The leather on the bench doesn't seem frail and has a nice grip to it as well and is light enough to move around with almost no effort.
The bench comes with a small but good quality seat attachment that comes in handy for seated work outs. This bench is highly customizable with many add-on attachments, 2 of which I have purchased along with this bench: the pull up bar attachment and the sit up attachment.
The price for the bench was great considering what I was getting while having my needs met. My only criticism with the bench is that when it is stowed away the nice quality leather on the bench touches the floor directly on a place where stitching is present and over time I fear that it could cause damaged to the stitching/leather, home remedies like laying the bench on a thin towel vs the bare floor might mitigate but still, it is a relatively small con on an otherwise great piece of equipment. I couldn't be happier with the purchase of this bench, a bench this useful should not be passed up!

I have only used a $300+ bench twice in my life not including the local gym benches from hammer strength. A great friend of mine owned a rep nighthawk which was a solid piece of gear but extremely heavy and second hand hoist bench that allowed a preacher curl and leg extension attachment. None of those two come close to what the SBV2 offer.
The ecosystem for this bench is worth it alone. I own 6 attachments(dip/pull up/leg ext&curl/crunch/preacher/cable tower) each feel unique and greatly add to my overall experience . The angles this bench can go is essentially standard everywhere else but for decline specifically it’s a truly unique feel especially with the crunch attachment this bench turns into a inversion table or if you angle it properly upwards with the dip attachment becomes a back supported hanging leg and knee raise bench.

I’ve had my bench for over a year now and my favorite thing about it is that it’s amazingly sturdy and well built.
It doesn’t creak. It doesn’t move. It doesn’t wobble. It doesn’t rattle.
When I’m doing exercises, this bench is comfortable, supportive and super stable.

We needed an incline/decline bench for our home gym. Bought the Dip attachment with some skepticism, didn't think it would be stable with my 240 pounds on it. Solid as a rock. The only issue I have with the bench is they dropped the price $50 withing a couple of weeks of my purchase... par for the course I guess :)

Strong, sturdy, portable. Everything you want for a bench in a small home gym. While I've read some comments about the seat being too narrow, it works great for me (5'9", 205).

Really happy I bought this one. It was a toss-up between the Super Bench PRO V2 and a Freak ABX, but I got a good sale on the Ironmaster with multiple attachments for the same price as the ABX bench by itself.
It shipped quickly, and was mostly assembled, just had to put on the feet and attachment twist knob.
I love that it's got a wide and narrow end, I'm loving the extra support for bench press (my old bench was a folding model only 10" wide on the pad). I had to tighten up the adjustment mechanism as it was slightly wobbly out of the box, but after adjustment, no issues. I expect I'll be using this bench for many years.
No dealbreakers here, it's excellent quality and way sturdier than I expected for the adjustment mechanism. I'm very impressed.

Have had this bench for 1.5 years. It’s easy to adjust and is used almost daily in my home gym. No complaints. Get the extra handle and wheels. Seat options are great. I strongly recommend this to everyone.

The Pro V2 Bench, Sit up, Preacher pad, Hyper core and Chin up bar are really made well. I am truly impressed with the build quality !!! It is definitely sturdy for a 215 pound man like myself.
The packaging was phenomenal. This was packed extremely well. It is a little pricey. The bench, the seat, the sit up, the preacher pad and chin up bar are excellent. The Hyper core did have a couple issues but were not deal breakers. The chrome plating has a impregnated smudge in the chrome which doesn't add too its appeal but doesn't have any effect on it's usage. Also one of the bolts that secure the pads to the Hyper core wasn't tapped very well. It would not start by hand. I took this bolt out to my garage and used the same size die to re-thread it. After that it threaded in quite nicely. If I could make one change or recommendation on this attachment: I would make the pad a one piece instead of two separate pads. Also one other recommendation would be to put two more sets of holes in the sit up attachment for shorter people. This would allow there body more to the end of the bench to drop there legs below the bench level for added gains. I have yet to receive my Dip bar attachment. I will elaborate more a year from now to evaluate it's long term wear and use.
At the present time I am pleased. Also Jacob and Scott were awesome with any questions or concerns. One thing I was truly happy with was to talk to them by phone which is almost unheard of in this age off time. They were on top of it for me. Special thanks to both of them.

The Super Bench Pro came highly recommended and beat the hype. Excellent craftsmanship, very quick and easy to assemble, sturdy performance, low profile, plus it just looks great. Love the engineering between the incline adjustment, its so smooth. For 500 with shipping included, it feels like a bargain for what you get. Absolutley would buy again and recommend.

I did a lot of research before purchasing a bench. There are so many companies and options, but this one sounded close to perfect for my needs. Have had the bench a couple of months now and I absolutely love it. It is solid, great quality, stable, and super easy to use (incline, attachments, removing seat etc). When doing research, some benches would sound good, but then I’d see how much they weigh or how much space they take up and knew it wouldn’t work. This bench is perfect in that regard, as I can easily move it around and it takes up very little space. Love it and recommend 100%

I appreciate this bench everyday that i get to use it. It’s surprisingly solid and sturdy for the size. I like how light and easy it is to move around may garage. Can’t wait to test out attachment for it. As of right now I only have the bench.

This bench is really great. I highly recommend it. It is very well made, sturdy, durable, and versatile. I look forward to buying the many attachments that can be used on it. It is ideal for my basement where space is limited. I am fortunate that I found this bench as it is perfect.

This bench is fuckin phenomenal. You hear me? Fuckin P H E N O M E N A L! Yea, its pricey, but its the buy once, cry once dilemma, yennoe? I was like you once, cheaped out with a lil shitty Adidas bench with the kick stand and notches to change inclines with like a whopping 3 positions. Feeling all shaky when my fat ass laid on it with 225 on my bench. Not with this bench. I loaded 225 and the damn thing didn't budge! A variety of angles, decline, has that lil narrow end so you can get additional ROM with bench. Again, its pricey for a bench, but it legit shits on all the others, has a small foot print and will probably be the last bench I buy.
And the attachments! I got the sit up rig thing and the leg curls/extension. They're awesome. The sit up thing works too damn good! I put max decline so I could stretch my vertebraes. My fat ass got stuck upside down! I was relaxing in the stretch, got too relaxed and remembered my core is softer than baby shit and I couldn't sit back up to get myself off, blood rushed to my head and I passed out! My wife found me and needed to get the neighbor to help get my big ass off of there. But you know what, it held me the WHOLE time.
Ironmasters is quality. Take 500 out of your kids college find, equity out of your house, whatever you need to do, and just get the bench.

This bench is substantial. It feels solid, durable and ready to support some weight. I've been very impressed with the design and function. It is easy to adjust and works great with the dip and situp attachments.

Admittedly I had a cheap bench off of amazon before but the difference in stability and overall feel is immediate. I’ve spent a lot of time in commercial gyms and this bench is even more stable, better feel while being lighter and easy to move. Adjustability is intuitive, quick and easy. I could see some accessories in my future.

I'm glad I chose this bench. It's not too heavy, but feels completely solid. The pad is comfortable but firm and supportive, and I love the hybrid width. Whatever incline I adjust to feels sturdy with no wobble or give. The only slight negative would be that when installed, the seat just doesn't feel quite as solid as everything else, there's just a little bit of give. But it performs great and I'm very happy with my purchase. Five stars!
