You spoke we listened. Our UTV40 has been optimized, streamlined, slimmed down, but with beefed up padding in all the right places, including the addition of a phone/card pocket.Designed exclusively for use with our legendary Quick-Lock weight plate system, easily add up to 40 lbs in 2.5 and 5 lb increments of Quick-Lock iron plates. Adjustable weight vests let you gradually increase resistance during bodyweight workouts—ideal for pull-ups, dips, running, rucking, and high-intensity moves like burpees. They’re designed for comfort and performance, helping you take your conditioning to the next level. Compact and travel-friendly, the vest and plates fit easily in your car or luggage, making them perfect for workouts on the go too.
The UTV40 is made of tough 600D Cordura material ensuring long lasting durability and stands up to any workout.
40lb maximum capacity (using 2.5 or 5 lb Quick-Lock plates)
2 weight pockets with two compartments each that can hold 20 lbs each. One pocket in front and one in back.
1 cell phone pocket will accomodate most smart phones sized 3"x6"

One size fits most. This vest is sized to fit anyone Small to 2XL size. Mannequin is a Medium/Large for scale.

Vest works great; small, compact, fits well. Quick lock plates fit perfectly with no slipping or movement during use. First vest had small stitching flaw; replaced immediately by Ironmaster; great customer service.

The material/stitching on the vest, which is made in Pakistan, are of high quality. The vest is very adjustable and fits my lean 160 lb frame well. Also, it sits high up on the chest so as not to interfere with a weight belt. The Ironmaster dumbbell plates fit perfectly in the pouches, which are secured with heavy-duty Velcro. By having front/rear pouches, micro adjustments in the weight are more easily made. Compared to other vests, the overall quality/price are solid.

I'd been considering adding a vest to the home gym for some time. I just couldn't bring myself to pay the prices of some of the other quality brands along with adding vest plates. I already had the ironmaster adjustable dumbbell set and this is the perfect compliment to them.
It is well made and I have no reservations with the quality. I expect it to last. I have the 40lbs version and I've worked up to 20lbs. No issues with plate rattles or feeling loose. It fits great and stays secure. I've done some hiking and body weight workouts with it. Its amazing how much 20lbs can change a workout. I highly recommend giving this vest a shot.

Sturdy and very well made, high quality. Very comfortable to wear, very stable while walking even without the supplemental chest strap. Perfect way to enhance the benefit of daily walks.

It seems a bit expensive at first, but compared with companies that actually make GOOD vests like this one, it is not. The material and stitching is solid. This added a lot of versatility to my workouts using the plates I already own. I can micro adjust for exercises like weighted dips and pull-ups up to 40lbs, and I can still use this to go ruck or run in as well. If you already own the plates from the dumbbells or Kettlebells, and you want a vest, this is it, buy it.

I'm 5'9 150 lbs so I didn't really see a need for a vest that can carry 70 lbs. I wanted somrthing that would fit my frame and be easy to wear for walking at home and around the neighborhood when I walk my dog as well as for dips and pull ups where body weight just isn't enough anymore. The heavier vests out there option are quite wide which is restrictive in movement for both simple walking as well as lifting when you have a smaller frame.
This is very well made. The red logo on the front is removable, which while not necessary it is nice as opposed to being stitched on. There is an extra strap that wraps around you higher up that you don't have to use but does gove more support. I hesitated at the cost. I know ironmaster makes good stuff but compared to getting a basic vest with weights on Amazon this was quite a bit more expensive. I would say after a week with it the price is justified and it is a good piece of kit. I find it pretty comfortable to wear.
