Very nice and sturdy. Well-made dumbbells had many choices to choose from but chose these because of their reputation customer service and longevity.

I’ve tried spin locks, Olympic Dumbell handles, power locks and have even had a set of fixed dumbbells. They have all been replaced by these. These are borderline perfect these are the only adjustable dumbbells I have ever used that feel like fixed dumbbells (they actually feel better than some of my fixed dumbbells)

Purchased this free weight system to replace my Soloflex free weight system, which perished with our home in the Eaton Canyon fire on January 7, 2025 and I could not be happier with them! They are a fine replacement and are even more efficient and easier to use. Really am very pleased with this purchase and highly recommend them to anyone who is interested in purchasing a system of this nature. Nice job Ironmaster for developing such an awesome free weight system!

The bar and plates are of high quality with no rattles. The bar's length/diameter is fine for larger hands and the knurling is perfect. The quick-lock system is easy to use, although weight adjustments cannot be made as quickly as other adjustable dumbbell sets like PowerBlock or Lifepro PowerFlow. Those sets have plastic parts and perhaps will not stand the test of time. There are expansion options if additional weight is needed in the future.

This is my first adjustable dumbbell set, and I am extremely impressed. Super high quality and will last for years. My only regret is not buying this sooner!

This dumbbell set is very high quality, and we love the ease of changing the weights. Also, the set takes up very little room! Customer service was amazing, and they got it shipped and it arrived on time for my hubby's birthday - so appreciated!

I sold my Nuobells and picked these up, along with the Heavy Handle Kit and 120 lb. upgrade. I love these! They have been the best addition to my home gym! Super durable. Quality is unmatched. The Lifetime warranty is also a huge selling point for me.

I love this set. The weight range is excellent (with room to grow), and I find that changing plates is very fast -- easily done during my rest between sets or exercises. Knurling and handle diameter is comfortable for me.

Definition of no frills. Want something you can super set sub-30LBS movements? Maybe not the best product for you (but still do-able). Want a pair of dumbbells that FEEL like dumbbells and will last a lifetime with little issues, that go heavy, and will not break if you drop them (because you will)? These are for you.
Fully satisfied, amazing product. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.

I spent quite a bit of time watching youtube reviews, comparing different products until I finally decided to purchase this set of dumbbells. I hit the top of the weight on my previous adjustable dumbbells so have been looking for a while, and I have been using the weights for a few weeks and have been really enjoying them. The weights are sturdy and don't rattle around. Adding weights is very easy to do, though it can take some time if you're adding a lot of weight.
The only downside, if you need to swap between weights it is time consuming to do so. With my circuit I pretty much have these set to a single weight and use my other dumbbells for the other exercises. It is "quick" to change weights but not as quick as some of the other adjustable dumbbells in the market but these are built much better than the others. I do prefer the straight metal handles instead of the rubberized ones that tend to role or slip with heavier weights.
If you are doing traditional routines that do a single exercise through completion of steps instead of circuit, these are phenomenal and the weight changing is easy and quick enough. for circuit training with different exercises with the same dumbbells, it may get annoying changing the weights, especially if you are lifting heavier.
I do plan on buying the 120 lb expansion within the next few months once I get closer to that top weight and need to expand.

I got the 75 lb set, the stand, super bench pro V2, and the dip bar. Couldn't be happier with this purchase. Everything is very high quality, sturdy, and just works very well. I was afraid the incline seat might be too narrow, but it's not at all. Great stuff.

Great for many exercises. High quality product. Easy to use. Plan your workout accordingly to get the most out of this product.

Great product. No rattles and the knurling is perfect. I actually enjoy changing out the plates.

Very happy with the purchase. The dumbbell system has become a pillar of my home gym and made it feel closer to a "real" gym. The quick-lock system is sturdy and reliable, leaving me to focus on getting the work done!

Title says it all. In an era of cost cutting and "shrinkflation" we increasingly pay more for less, and I'm tired of it. With Ironmaster, you get what you pay for.
Are they expensive? Yes. Are they worth it? Also yes. Why? They do what they say they do on the tin. Ironmasters feel like an actual dumbbell, they use quality materials, the quick-lock system is very easy to use, and you have the ability to go quite heavy. Even if I had the space to build a full gym with a rack of dumbbells, I'd rather just use these.
I am extremely satisfied with this purchase.

Dumbbells are balanced well (I have heavy handle kit) with handles having ideal knurling for me. Very easy and quick to make weight adjustments. Packaging was excellent for products with no cosmetic damage. Shipping was fast.
Look forward to many years of enjoyment from these dumbbells.

fantastic purchase. These dumbells are sturdy, and feel like they are going to last longer than anything else I researched. They feel about as close to hex dumbells in terms of balance as you can get in an adjustable. You can feel fully confident in this purchase.

I'm giving this product a 4 star because my dumbbells come with a few scratches from shipping. There are visible scratches from the handle and lock bolt. I'm usually not anal about these things for gym equipment. Still, since the product is $700, I expect it to come in pristine condition. Aside from this inconvenience, the product is excellent.
I've been using these dumbbells for about 3 weeks, and it is a pleasure to use them every time. I look forward to my workouts even more because the knurling on these dumbbells is satisfying. Not only the knurling but changing the plates and hearing the iron clink together is an experience of its own. I was considering the REP quickdraws and REP x Peppin before this. The REPPINS had a waitlist, which was a blessing in disguise. The quickdraws only went 60 lbs, which was a negative for me, so going with the quick locks 75 lbs was a no-brainer and upgradeable in the future because of their heavy hand kits and multiple upgrade paths to make the dumbbells heavier.
Ironmaster is heavily underrated and is considering purchasing more of its products.

Now I’ll put a disclaimer and say that I’ve never used other adjustable dumbbells but after getting these I don’t think I’ll ever have too. Having essentially a full set of dumbbells that I can store in my apartment is great. They’re solid as a rock and can be beat to hell with zero risk of damage them, I mean the handles are solid steel and the plates are straight up cast iron (at least that’s what I think they are) they’re some of, if not the most, expensive dumbbells you can buy but if you’re in the market you can’t go wrong with these.

I recently purchased Quick-Lock Adjustable Dumbbell System 75 lb Set and I am impressed with the durability, ease of use, and great quality. Highly recommended for anyone who is looking for a reliable product that will help you to achieve your fitness goals.

Excellent product, met all expectations.

I had adjustable dumbbells from a different vendor, but they were too long for many exercises. I upgraded to the 75-lb Ironmaster set, the 12.5-lb kettlebell adapter, and the Super Bench Pro V2. WOW! What an upgrade. I'm about 20 workouts in, and they are quick and easy to change weight, and they feel great in the hand (great knurling). Solid as a rock. First impressions matter; these (inc bench and kettlebell) have left an incredible first impression. I'm sure more Ironmaster purchases will be forthcoming.

Easily the best adjustable dumbbells on the market. Coupled with the 20LB heavy handle kit, they are unparalleled. I pulled the trigger and bought the stand, the heavy handle kit, and the extra weight sets up to 165, meaning I have up to 185 LBs of weight per hand, I will never outgrow this set and I will be able to pass this on to the next generation. Why haven’t you bought them yet? You get what you pay for. 100/10

Fantastically built, quality product. I am beyond satisfied with these dumbbells in my home gym. I couldn't be happier!

These are some of the best adjustable dumbbells I’ve ever used. In fact, I’d argue they hold up adequately to traditional dumbbells. Changing the weights is a breeze. They’re sturdy, well made, and solid as a rock. There is no wiggle in the plates nor the handle. The knurling on the handles is aggressive enough to keep them from slipping without being so rough that they tear your hands apart. The handles also feel great in your hands and are balanced perfectly. The ability to go from 10 lbs to 75 lbs with the traditional set is amazing. I’ll be adding the extra weight set to go to 120 soon, but for the time being, these have completely changed my home gym. I wish I had purchased these years ago. Ironmaster has a customer for life. They may not have invented the adjustable dumbbell, but they have made them better than any other I’ve tried. I can’t recommend these enough.

Been using the new dumbells several times a week and they are great and stay solidly tight. I recommend them.

Well worth the money, build quality will last you a lifetime. Already dropped a few times and not a scratch on them.

I bought several products from Ironmaster over a Black Friday sale this year. I had been biding my time for years to find and purchase a dumbbell/weight system. I finally pulled the trigger and have been seriously impressed with the dumbbell system, accessory plate kits, and weight vest. They have only had light use but I am not concerned with the quality at this time. The locking system is easy to use and secures the plates without any rattle. I'm expecting these to follow me to my death bed, and to provide me gains the entire trip to it.

I’ve had experience with a few different popular adjustable dumbbells, and these are my favorite. I was looking for adjustable dumbbells for my home gym that gave me as close of an experience to a full rack of dumbbells at a commercial gym. These DB’s checked all the boxes for me: they go heavy and are rock solid at heavy weight (I got the heavy handle kit and the extra weights that together bring you to 135 lbs per DB), the knurling and handle diameter are spot on, the large diameter thumbscrew creates a flat surface that is suitable for setting the DB up on its end and for setting the DB’s on your thighs when getting set up for a DB bench press, no cage around your hand means you can use this like a normal dumbbell and the balance is perfect, the weights do not shift around while lifting, and they are super durable. I don’t do any intentional torture testing on these, but it is common for me to drop these at least a few inches to the ground after a hard set and they are solid enough and don’t make you cringe. They sometimes have a slight clank of the weights when doing this, but it just sound like the “pro-style” Ivanko DB’s and adds some character when you are going heavy.
I put a few different weight combinations on the scale and they are very accurate. These don’t take long to adjust, but they aren’t going to be as fast as something like iron blocks or REP adjustable dumbbells. That is just slight tradeoff for a better experience when you are actually using the dumbbell.
Lastly, a great hack for weight storage of the plates when not in use: if you have a power rack with 1” holes, get some extra band pegs and these plates will fit perfectly on them and give you on-rack weight storage.

I got tired of Powerblocks because they were unbalanced, bulky, felt "caged in", and rattled. I didn't like the REP x Pepin adjustable dumbbells because of the "caged in" feeling and rattling (also re-racking them with heavy weight can be cumbersome).
Thankfully, Ironmasters Quick-Lock Adjustable Dumbbells were available on Black Friday 2024. These are the best adjustable dumbbells I've ever used. Solid, compact, balanced, quiet, and fast weight plate changes. The knurling is perfect. Definitely get the heavy handle kit for better balance.
