Lifting heavy dumbbells can be a challenge especially if you're working out on your own. Trainers usually require a spotter to help ensure their safety until they finish their sets.
For this reason, Ironmaster has come up with a Dumbbell Spotting Stand for the Super Bench/Super Bench PRO so you can train with extremely heavy dumbbells all by yourself.
Like most Ironmaster equipment, our Dumbbell Spotting Stand can be adjusted in many ways. It works great with the Ironmaster Quick-Lock Adjustable Dumbbells as well as other dumbbells that can stand on their ends. This is a piece of must-have equipment for trainers who want to make their heavy lifts easier and safer.
Adjustable and user-friendly
Our flexible Ironmaster Dumbbell Spotting Stand is very easy to assemble and use.
- The saddle height can be adjusted in increments of 2" starting at 21.5" from the floor to a maximum height of 37.5".
- To change the saddle height, just loosen the pull pins, raise or lower the saddles according to your desired height, then tighten the pins to lock them in place.
- It only takes a few steps to assemble the spotting stand and all hardware is included for easier installation. Just connect the base frame to the uprights, then the saddle to the uprights, then lay your bench on the special frame yoke and you're all set. You should be able to conveniently tilt the dumbbells out to facilitate lifting. Pro tip: Use lightweight dumbbells on your first use with the Dumbbell Spotting Stand to get your bearings.
- The welded handles on the back of the saddles allow you to swivel them in up 45 degrees so you can set them at an angle that's perfect for you.
- The superior adjustability of our spotting stand makes it the perfect companion for your solitary dumbbell presses, regardless of whether your bench is on a flat, decline, incline, or upright position.

- Each of the saddles has a weight load capacity of 130 lbs.
- Overall spotting stand dimensions are 43.5" W x 20" D x 34-49.5" H.
- Inside saddle dimensions are 9" W x 7.75" D x 12" H.
Versatile
Originally designed for use with the Ironmaster Quick-Lock Adjustable Dumbbells, our Dumbbell Spotting Stand can also be used with other types of dumbbells, provided that they:
- Fit the saddles.
- Are able to safely stand up on their ends.
- Weigh a maximum of 130lbs each.
