Quick-Lock Mace Handle
This mace handle is sold stand-alone, and is designed to also accept our Quick-Lock Dumbbell weight plates system. This will give you new options for your home gym; from warming up for your workout routine to specialized mace-only training. Perform familiar movements with additional weight such as squats and curls, or focus on unilateral exercises like lunges. Utilizing mace specific training allows you to precision target your core, shoulders, back and arms. It's a great workout, excellent for shoulder health pre-hab and rehab, and super fun.

- Weighs 6.5 pounds
- Accepts 2.5 lb, 5 lb, and 22.5 lb Quick-Lock Plates* (+ Locking Screw*) so you can incrementally adjust your weight as you get stronger
- Compatible with our Micro Plates Kit for 1.25 lb weight adjustments
- 42.5 inches in total length when unloaded (6.5" W x 6.5" H x 42.5" L)
- Two 10" long knurled sections with medium diamond knurl - same as QLDB.
- Handle diameter is 1.25"
- Will hold up to 55 lbs of Ironmaster QLDB weight plates. The 1069 Kettlebell Weight kit with the standard locking screw will bring the mace total weight to 41.5 lbs. The 1068 Kettlebell Add on Weight kit will bring the total to 64 lbs.
Easy and Quick to Adjust
- Perfect match with QLDB plates. This mace is designed to work with Ironmaster Quick-Lock dumbbell weight plates so you can use the plates you alrady own. No need for other expensive weight plates to clutter up your gym.
- User-friendly. Simply insert the Quick-Lock weight plates onto the plate end of the bar and lock them up tightly using your additional locking screw (sold separately).

This is an excellent mace.
The knurled grip is superb and grips really well. I agree with another reviewer that knurling the entire handle would be an improvement. The smooth part can get slippery once my hands start to sweat.
My only caveat is probably just a personal preference. The maces I learned with were shorter by a couple inches, so the handle feels just a bit too long. One of my favorite moves with the mace is to swing it from side to side (attack style). I always feel like the butt of the handle gets a little too close to my torso when doing this, and it forces me to adjust my grip to avoid it catching.
I also learned with ball end maces, and this is a flat-plated end. There's not the same imagine-I'm-smashing-an-orc's-head-in kind of feel to it that you get with a ball end. Just a personal preference.
The fact that I only need to keep adding plates means I'll never need another mace. As of writing this I've maxed out around 36.5 lbs. It's tough, and I love it.

If you love kettlebells, you'll love maces, and Ironmaster makes the best adjustable kettlebells and mace on the market, period. If you've already got the Ironmaster dumbbells or kettlebells, then the mace handle is a no brainer.
After about 5 months, I'm up to 22.5lbs added to the mace, and it is a SERIOUS workout. I don't believe anything develops forearm and grip strength as well as mace training, and this strength transfers into just about everything I do.

All of my weight equipment is from Ironmaster because they make incredible equipment. I love the quick lock and weight plate system so getting the mace from them was a no-brainer when I saw it. This is my first time using a mace and I love it. I have one small suggestion that I think would improve the mace - knurl/rough up the grip all the way through the handle so that my hands don't stick when running along the mace. Mace workouts often have you moving your hands along the handle and the polished part creates stickiness especially when hands are sweaty. 5-star product with the ability to graduate to 6-star!

Got the adjustable mace after using a 10 lbs mace for a while and felt I could upgrade, but wasn’t sure how much I could jump up for different movements. Now I can adjust by as little as 2.5 increments and go heavy or light depending on how I feel and my goal. The mace is a bit longer than my 10 lbs mace, but swings the same. Swings can get heavy quick! I bought this with 2 kettle bells and 2 kettlebell weight sets. Gonna last a long time!

I got it after I got the adjustable dumbells and I love it. Saves so much space and keeps you from having to buy like 10 individual macebells. Highly recommend. But make sure to buy the additional locking screw.

Just started getting into mace training to help with my shoulder injuries. I have most of the Quick-Lock products, including plenty of plates so it made sense to go with this product where I can easily add weight as I gain strength. The weight is quick and easy to change and I usually only need to do it between sets of different exercises. The length and girth of the handle, along with the knurling, make it feel secure and comfortable to throw around. Balance is excellent as well. A great addition to my gym and a solid value.

I've been interested in steel mace training but like kettlebells, i didn't want a lot of extra equipment taking up space. This mace handle is awesome! the feel of the knurling gives texture but doesn't cut into your hands. The head seems like its going to be too big for 360's or 10 and 2's but it clears the legs and glutes just fine even on mis swings at high speeds. over all a great product.
