- The 46-inch crossbar allows for a maximum grip width of 54 inches.

Simple to attach and assemble
The Ultimate Chin Up Attachment IM2000 can be installed in just a few steps:
- Take out the two bolts from the top center of the IM2000 and remove the outer pulley wheel bolt.
- Connect the crossbar on the top portion of the machine and secure with the M12 x 100 bolts (included).
- Insert the M12 x 60 Allen bolt (included) through the crossbar front tabs and reinstall the pulley wheel. Secure all bolts tightly.
- Slide the grip handles on the crossbar and secure at your desired position. (You can interchange the left and right handles for more grip options.)
Notes:
- The Ultimate Chin Up Attachment increases the height of your IM2000 machine to 87 inches and requiresat least 92 inches ceiling for head clearance. a typical 8 foot ceiling is ideal.
- This equipment is designed for the IM2000 but will also fit most older models like the Ironmaster IM950 and IM1000. Please contact us if you wish to check its compatibility with your machine.

I have been a loyal Ironmaster customer since 2007 and over the years I have purchased an IM2000, Super Bench, 75 lb Quick Lock dumbbell set with stand, two kettlebells, and every attachment that the organizer tree will hold. At 59 years of age I am very proud of the Ironmaster home gym that I have assembled and which I use on a regular basis. I recently purchased the Ultimate Chin Up Attachment to add on to my IM2000 and was really looking forward to being able to do a variety of chin ups/pull ups without having to setup my Super Bench in a vertical position with the Chin Up bar attached. The Ultimate Chin Up Attachment was very easy to install on my IM2000 and it has many different grips to choose from with large grip width adjustment ranges for all the grips except for the neutral grips (palms facing each other) where the minimum width spacing is about 22". When you do neutral grip pull ups your grip width spacing should be about shoulder width (18” for me) to prevent from putting extra strain on the muscles and tendons on the inside of your elbows. In all of my years of doing chin ups and pull ups with my Super Bench + Chin Up bar combo where the neutral grip spacing is fixed at 18” I’ve never had any pain in my elbows. After doing neutral grip pull ups with the Ultimate Chin Up attachment for about 3 weeks I began experiencing significant pain on the inside of my elbows. If the neutral grips were relocated 90 degrees backward from their pointing down position on each handle that would change the minimum neutral grip spacing to 12” without interfering with any of the other grips. I respectfully ask that Ironmaster modify the design of the Ultimate Chin Up Attachment neutral grips on each handle as I have specified so I and many other Ironmaster customers can do neutral grip pull ups (my favorite) without worrying about elbow pain or injury.
