The Ironmaster Hybrid Bench Grip Pad for the Super Bench/PRO offers trainers the best of both worlds. Since we have received requests for a wider bench pad, but many users like our normal pad width, we designed one that has a 12.25" width on one half of the pad and the standard 10.25" width on the other. The wider side of this dual-width bench pad provides optimal shoulder support for bench pressing while the standard side offers an extensive range of motion.
This bench pad is sold as an accessory and can easily be bolted onto your existing Super Bench/PRO to replace the standard bench pad that came with your adjustable utility bench.
High-level comfort and support
The Hybrid Bench Pad combines the standard size bench pad on one half and a wider one on the other half. The foam is also of higher density like the one on the PRO bench for extra stability.
- This dual-width bench pad is 44" long x 10.25" wide on the upper half and 12.25" wide on the lower half.
- Bench press on the wider side for optimal shoulder support if you like a wider pad - or lie down on the standard side to execute movements with a greater range of motion.
- NEW: Sturdy vinyl upholstery has an updated grip pattern to meet the demands of our customers.
- The 2.5" thick cushion is made of high-density commercial grade foam to provide you with firm but comfortable support.
Excellent compatibility and fit
- The Hybrid Bench Grip Pad fits the Ironmaster Super Bench and Super Bench PRO V2 perfectly.
- It uses the same hardware as the standard bench pads used on both benches for easy and convenient installation. Simply bolt this in place after unbolting the original standard size pad.
- The standard incline seat can still be attached even with this wider bench pad
- This Grip Pad is textured but still easier to clean than other Grip pads on the market.
- This bench pad is sold as an accessory. If you're getting a Super Bench, or have a previous PRO version and want the Hybrid Bench Grip Pad, you will need to purchase it separately as an upgrade.

I waited way too long to purchase this (I've had my Super Bench since 2009). I finally pulled the trigger during the Black Friday sale. It's super easy to install and it feels great! I like the wider bench pad. It's much more stable for benching. It also provides extra grip over the original Super Bench pad. I highly recommend it!

Big improvement over the last hybrid bench pad, where the pad was too hard and thin. This is my third pad for this bench and so far the best. Would like if you would offer a seat with matching material. I would also especially love a wider seat option!!!

The grippy vinyl and improved padding takes the SBPv2 from great to even better! It was already my go-to bench for all my accessory/bodybuilding work, but now I can use it for my main bench press too. I can now dig my scapula into the pad and set my arch without sliding. It was my biggest complaint with the old pad. It is certainly worth the $99 for the upgrade. I can confidently sell my other bench, free up some space, and use the IM SBPv2 as my one and only bench.

The grip and feel of the new material is great. I do think the new foam is a bit soft and could be more firm, maybe not as firm as the original. I still like it better then the original.

Had the old hybrid pad and got the new one when it came out. Big improvement! The old one was nice too, but this one’s denser and super grippy, so you feel firmly planted when doing anything. Highly recommend it if you don’t have it!

The quality of this bench pad is excellent. The added width is good support for both barbell and dumbbell benches. The grip is a very good feature. Helps you locked on. And the pad is firm,but has some cushion. Only thing missing is the Ironmaster logo on top of the pad.
