With a length of just over 7' and a weight of 44lbs, this barbell is great for any traditional barbell exercise. Built with quality in mind, this barbell features superior construction with super smooth rotating sleeves that have a finely grooved pattern to help hold plates and collars securely, and a special black coating on the center area for good knurling feel and good corrosion resistance. Dual guide marks for Olympic or Powerlifting style training. Bar is made with a good balance of rigidity and some whip for all around training. There are lots of economy bars out there, I bought one such bar that came highly recommended. It rattled and even after taking it apart and resetting the internal rings, it had play in it. To top it off, the internal rings kept popping out. The company sent me a replacement and it did exactly the same thing. Turns out for the same amount of money I bought the IM barbell. It's a sleeper product, way better than any of the bars in its price range. This bar needs to be talked about way more, and reviewed way more. It's a top pick in my book and should be in yours too.

The quality and tight tolerances of this bar far exceed any other bar in this price category. The sleeves are ultra durable, the shaft coating has held up great with no damage from my jcups, and the shipping was done very well and secure. Seriously, don’t sleep on this bar, Ironmaster sells high quality products and this is no different. My bar was a gift from my girlfriend and she knocked it out of the park!

OMG! So happy I went with this barbell! I originally purchased a Rogue Ohio bar but sold it to get this bar and I am so happy with my choice/purchase. It is well balanced, has decent knurling and plates slide on and off with ease. The only gripe is I wish the finger markings were more pronounced but not a big deal as I still find them without too much trouble.

I bought this with the set of plates and was quite surprised at the quality. Very smooth bearings, great knurled handle, not sharp on the hands. Very solid bar for the price and was impressed. You wont ever need to own another.

This is truly an awesome bar. I honestly would've expected to pay much more for this level of quality.

I like this bar a lot better than my rogue Ohio bar. I find that the knurling digs in better to stick on squats than my rogue. Love both bars, but this one is almost half the price with free shipping and no sales tax! Additionally, ironmaster gives a discount for military, fitness instructors and first responders.

This is a solid well built and well balanced bar. The knurling is just perfect. Use it for bench press all the time. With a 1000 lbs capacity, it's all you need.
